As much as entering the high-end market of top world brands led to great learning, effort and satisfaction for the entrepreneur, it also meant recognizing and identifying the real strengths of the business to formulate a change in direction that would make their offerings competitive.
So with this new market vision in hand, Yelka succeeded in acquiring contracts for the production of high-quality garments, designed exclusively for Pret a Porter of the high-end New York market.
For this new relationship with its markets, named “private label”, Madres & Artesanas Tex receives the technical specifications, the designs and all the materials it needs to finish the garments: fibers, wools and accessories such as buttons and zippers, including the labels and bags for the packaging of the garments it produces.
The labels currently produced by Madres & Artesanas Tex belong to recognized limited-edition brands such as Polo-Ralph Lauren, Diane Von Furstenberg, Nicole Miller, Lutz & Patmos, and other recognized North-American designers, who have achieved celebrity through their contemporary, high-fashion products for women and that have succeeded in gaining entrance into other sectors such as children’s and men’s fashion.
The limited-editions that Madres & Artesanas Tex produces today can be seen reflected in numerous labels. For example, these works of art, in which the corresponding copy number is shown, total 30 world-wide.
